Our Artists
Sameer Rahat
Sameer Rahat is a writer, performer and film music composer/producer based out of Mumbai. Apart from working as a film music composer at his very own Baqsa Studios, he also plays his own brand of Urdu-blues music, experimenting with the poetry of contemporary and progressive Urdu poets from the Indian subcontinent.
Parvaaz
Parvaaz is a contemporary Indian music band whose sound can best be described as a blend prog/psychedelic rock with elements of folk and world music. They have been a hot favourite in the independent music community for a few years now and have a rather grand almost cult like on ground following.
Parekh & Singh
Parekh & Singh are an Indian dream pop duo from the city of Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. The duo consists of Nischay Parekh (vocals, guitar, synths) and Jivraj Singh (drums, electronics).
Initially, the duo performed under the banner of Nischay Parekh in 2011. Although it was ostensibly Parekh’s solo project, Singh was a constant collaborator and appeared alongside Parekh for photos and performances.
Jbabe
JBABE is the solo project of The F16s’ Josh Fernandez. He describes his music as lo-fi, indie-pop mixed with rhythm and blues.
The single sees the singer-songwriter-producer drop the glam synth-pop style of his debut EP ‘Play The Piano Drunk Like A Percussion Instrument Until The Fingers Begin To Bleed A Bit’, for a punk-based assortment of distorted vocals, guitar strums, synth lines and hard-hit drums.
Raman Negi
For the most part of the last two decades, Raman Negi has garnered the reputation of a singer-songwriter responsible for creating music that breaks free from the shackles of trends, genres, language, and themes. Now he is doing all this and more while
Rooted in self-discovery, he is focused on building second-to-none artistry that resonates with his quest of unlearning as well as relearning in the past two years pertaining to his personal and professional life.
Blackstratblues
Blackstratblues, the brainchild of renowned guitarist and songwriter Warren Mendonsa, embodies a shared passion for blues, rock and experimental music among Mendonsa, Jai Row Kavi (Drums), Beven (Keys), and Adi (Bass). Together, they’ve crafted a unique sonic identity that has made a lasting impact on the Indian music scene.
Since its inception, Blackstratblues has unleashed a string of critically acclaimed albums, each a testament to their extraordinary instrumental finesse.
